John Edward Nathaniel Sr. Born June 23, 1956 to the late Samuel and Rosemell Nathaniel in Sumter, South Carolina. John departed this earth on March 1, 2023. John was educated in the Sumter, South Carolina school district. He worked for Acklin Metal in Sumter, South Carolina for 15 years before relocating to Providence, Rhode Island in 1984.

John leaves to cherish his memory his estranged wife Victoria Nathaniel of Sumter South Carolina. His companion, Vanessa Towns of Providence, Rhode Island. He also leaves four children, John Nathaniel Jr and his wife Tiesha Nathaniel of Sumter, South Carolina, Latoya Jay and her husband Jerriel Jay of Atlanta, Georgia, Latrice Green of Sumter, South Carolina and Shakeya Towns of Providence, Rhode Island, Four Step children Lee McKnight of Charleston, South Carolina and Teresa (Alexander) McCants of Sumter South, Carolina, Sherina Towns and Phill Towns both of Providence, RI, Five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter all of South Carolina, two sisters, Patricia Nathaniel and Susan Davis, both of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, One brother, Larry Nathaniel of Indiana. John is proceeded in death by both of his parents, Samuel and Rosemell Nathaniel, One sister Barbara Costa, Four brothers Douglas Pringle, Glenn Nathaniel, David Nathaniel, and James Nathaniel and Three Brother In Law's Lee Brockington, Tyrone Oliver and Roland Costa. John also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who absolutely adored him to cherish his memory.

Relatives and Friends are invited to Attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 11th from 1pm-4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial Private.
